This is the first track I've actually had the right headspace to finish in around 18 months - the World's been a crazy place & life has been completely spun on it's head with the things we take for granted on a daily basis being prised away from us.
Stepping back from producing music these past few years has been something I simply had to do, those that know me will be aware that my relationship with music doesn't simply start & stop with my own productions or indeed soulful house... it's apart of my daily life & something I'm very thankful pays the bills.
These last few years have personally thrown a lot of curve balls & bear traps out there, so producing, releasing & even enjoying what I do in the studio has had to be put on hold...
'Don't Break My Heart' is a little different from what you might associate me with - and that's Ok... it's intended to be. DBMH is a creative outlet for me to reignite what I love doing & hopefully get both the confidence & belief in releasing regular music again
